The project consists of ten residential buildings of various heights and floor areas, offering a summer club, winter club, convenient shopping centers and restaurants , fitness and sports areas, swimming pools, children’s nurseries and playgrounds and a 24/7 security guard agency.

The project was designed taking in to account the environmental, social and luxurious requirements to achieve a sustainable high-standards community. Located 300 meters above sea level the spot unveils panoramic views over mountains the sea and the city of Beirut.

Our Responsibilities in this project were in the structural Design , as sub-consultants:

  • Creating the Structural Model of the building.
  • Accomplishing full Analysis of all Structural Elements
  • Designing the buildings using wide Varity of Programs.
  • Ensuring the best standards against Seismic activity , Wind and Lateral forces
  • Submitting a Report explaining each and every Step taken in the process of Analysis and Design
  • Providing the AutoCAD drawings to commence construction

Advanced computer software, based on the Finite Elements Method (FEM), were used to evaluate the exerted forces acting on the structure,. After assessing the straining stresses on the structural system.

The buildings structural resisting system was determined in accordance to the following codes and practice:

  • The Uniform Building Code “UBC 97” determination of lateral forces intensity and distribution
  • “ACI 318-02” determination of loads combinations & Design.

Wide range of structural software where used in the design, namely:

  • ETABS (CSI), Robot: Creating the structural models and Numerical Analysis using finite element method.
  • SAFE(CSI) , Allpile: Analysis and Design of Pile-Raft foundation.
  • S-concrete, PCA-column, CSI-column: Design of Vertical Elements.
  • Adapt _builder: Design of Post Tension slabs.
